All area residential owners, renters; land owners; business owners; area school administration

Location
Defined by the ACA Charter as that portion of un-incorporated Bartow County that lies south and east of Lake Allatoona, extending to the Cobb County and Cherokee County lines….from I-75/Glade Road to Red Top Mountain State Park, including all communities o either side of Glade Road and that portion of Bartow County that extends to Cobb County below I-75.

General Strategies

  • Seek input of community at large (example: assessments, Neighborhood council,
    web/phone/email)
  • Areas of focus include safety, health, and environmental issues
  • Develop and maintain long-term community improvement strategies
  • The ACA is not limited to these issues alone and may address any community related issues that the ACA Board deems appropriate
  • A citizen’s action group organized for the express purpose of promoting community betterment under the auspices of Bartow County, Georgia government
  • Articulates the ACA mission, accomplishments, and goals to the public and gains support for and from the community
  • Determines, monitors and strengthens the community programs and services; determines which programs are consistent with the ACA mission and monitors their effectiveness
