Successful 2015 JUNK-DUMP!

Over 13 TONS of scrap metal, yard refuse, brush waste, and household bulk trash were brought in!   AND that scale count did not include the trash compacter, tire, and miscellaneous recycling weights! Thanks, Allatoona Residents, for another great JUNK-DUMP day on Saturday, June 20th!! Bartow County Waste Management staff and volunteer members of the Allatoona Community Association Board of Directors spent the day helping people deposit their “stuff” into the appropriate bins, and passing out information packets.  And, our thanks to Bartow County Solid Waste Management and Keep Bartow Beautiful for supporting this event and our Community. Grand Opening and Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony held June 17, 2015  |  Stop by to visit, meet the staff and learn more!     The Allatoona Community Complex is located at 6505 Glade Road, Acworth, GA, 30102 and consists of the Resource Center, Youth Facility Gymnasium and the Compacting and Recycling Facility.     Many programs are being developed and we encourage everyone to get involved. This complex is a great benefit to all of us and our community.
